We look forward to seeing you at the South Bank and Waterloo Forum this Thursday, 9 October at 6pm. Our MP Florence Eshalomi will chair the first half an hour so we'll start promptly at 6pm.

Location: Lambeth Walk Methodist Church on the corner of 3 -5 Lambeth Road/Walk, SE1 7DQ
FROM 5.30 there will a tour the new Church and facilities built in association with the adjoining Premier Inn Hotel, hear about its work with a tea or coffee
AFTER there with be meeting a drinks reception with your neighbours

6.35 Progress on the redesignation of SoWN - Tom Davies Senior Planner (planning policy) London Borough of Lambeth
6.40 Waterloo’s “hidden” Arts – whilst the national arts institutions work is well know there is a wealth of smaller activities. Giles Goddard, chair of SoWN will present examples of some of the work of Rambert, St John’s Waterloo, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Coin Street.

Black History Month event at Coin Street - save the date: Monday 27 October
Coin Street is proudly hosting a vibrant Black History Month event at the Coin Street neighbourhood centre.
The team have created a full day of activities to honour Black culture starting with a black owned mini market from 12 to 6pm followed by an Intergenerational Black Culture Celebration from 6 to 8pm. Further details to follow.
