SoWN News Special: Jubilee Gardens extension consultation now open

Braeburn Estates, in partnership with the Southbank Centre, is bringing forward proposals to extend Jubilee Gardens by transforming the existing Hungerford car park into a new area of high-quality public green space.

The proposals would create a seamless extension to the existing gardens, increasing the size of the gardens by around 40% and delivering new lawns, trees, planting beds, seating areas and accessible routes through the gardens. The plans also include cultural events area that will support family-friendly outdoor activities.
As part of the consultation, they are holding a public exhibition where you will be able to view the proposals, speak to members of the project team and share your feedback.
