You are warmly invited to SoWN's AGM on 20th November at 10 a.m. at St John's Church, Waterloo Road, SE1 8TY.

This will be the fifth AGM since the Neighbourhood Plan was formally approved in December 2019.

This will be a short formal AGM for the election of Trustees. The Trustees have oversight of SoWN, making sure that it meets its constitutional responsibilities. They work closely with the Steering Group which directs SoWN’s work. The Steering Group is currently working on a more detailed report of last year’s activities, and a forward plan, which will be presented at a future meeting of the South Bank and Waterloo Forum.

Voting for election of trustees must be in-person or by proxy.

It is important to have a diverse and representative group of trustees from across the area, and with a balance of residents and businesses. If you are interested and willing to serve as a trustee, please register your interest by emailing the Secretary, David Clarson, at mail@sowneighbours.org.

Current Trustees are Suat Binkaya (business representative), David Clarson (resident), Giles Goddard (resident), Michael Johnson (resident/business), Carmelita Lee and Max Weiner (resident).

As one third of the Trustees must resign each year David Clarson, Giles Goddard and Michael Johnson are resigning as Trustees and offer themselves for re-election in line with Agenda item 5.

If, as a member of SoWN, you wish to raise a particular issue or propose a motion for the AGM, please email the Secretary, David Clarson, at mail@sowneighbours.org, by Thursday 7th November 2025.

If you are unable to attend, you may nominate another member to vote on your behalf on any matter by completing and returning the Proxy Voting Form below the agenda here
