We're recruiting!

We are excited to announce that SoWN is recruiting a Programme Coordinator.

This is a new post, 3 days/week. The main focus of the job will be to roll out the programme of grant funding for which SoWN is responsible - the Neighbourhood Community Investment Levy (NCiL) funds, the Community Chest, the Health and Wellbeing fund, and any other grants we are able to achieve.
It's going to be a fascinating role, enabling SoWN to build its presence locally and enable us to fulfil the priorities you supported in the Neighbourhood Plan.

We're especially excited that we have been given responsibility for spending £1m of NCiL, which will focus on the top priorities in the Neighbourhood Plan as agreed by the SoWN Steering Group.

The funds have already enabled us to support the Emma Cons Thursdays, which were a great success. They will also support our ambition to make South Bank and Waterloo a greener, safer neighbourhood for all, and support local volunteers working in our community projects. More information on the NCiL grants will follow in our next newsletter.

We'd love to appoint someone local, who really knows the area. So, if you know anyone who would be interested in applying, please pass details to them and encourage them to apply.
Further information is here. Please forward!
