Waterloo Community Counselling is recruiting for voluntary positions to join the Board of Trustees


Whether you are an experienced Trustee or wanting to take your first step at board level, Waterloo Community Counselling (WCC) would like to hear from you.


The WCC Board comprises ten Trustees including the Chair and there are currently two vacancies.


WCC are particularly interested in people with skills and expertise to offer around:

  • Financial experience and/or knowledge of charity accounting and the ability to apply this strategically

  • Income generation/ fundraising skills and expertise

How to apply


Email your CV and LinkedIn profile to WCC Chair, Hazel Flynn at wcctrustees@waterloocc.co.uk, with a covering email of no more than three hundred words.


Explain why you are interested in a trustee role at WCC, what you can bring to the charity and highlighting your relevant skills and experience in relation to finance and/or fundraising.


The closing date for applications is Friday 15 August 2025. Interviews are planned for week of 1 September and 8 September 2025 and will be online.


The aim is for successful candidates to take up the trustee position at the WCC Board meeting in October 2025.

SoWN Forums


The SoWN Forums are a chance for you to hear the latest on local issues, share your views, and help shape the future of your community.

The meeting is followed by a drinks reception to meet and catch up with local people. It’s a great way to connect with neighbours in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

The next SoWN Forums will be held on Thursday 9 October and Thursday 11 December.
