You’re warmly invited to Local Election Hustings at St John’s Waterloo
SoWN and St John’s Waterloo are pleased to welcome everyone in the community to a Local Election Hustings.
What is a hustings?
A hustings is a meeting at which candidates in an election address potential voters.

This is a chance to hear directly from the candidates and learn more about the issues that affect our area. Whether you follow local elections closely or are simply curious to find out more, you will be very welcome. Come and hear what the candidates have to say about local issues, to help you decide how to vote!
All parties standing in this area have been invited to attend. Candidates from the Green, Labour and Liberal Democrat parties have confirmed their attendance so far.
Everyone is welcome: local residents, first-time voters, long-standing community members, and anyone who wants to understand more about what’s happening locally and how decisions are made. The evening is designed to be open, accessible, and friendly. You don’t need any specialist knowledge or strong views, just an interest in local life.
Calling all young people! Your questions will be prioritised from 6 to 6.30pm so come along and ask a question even if you're not voting this time!
